Missions Chapel meets every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Judd Theater, which is located in the Garvey Center. According to Bible Professor and Missions Chapel Coordinator Robert Carpenter, the idea for Missions Chapel began in a spur of the moment about seven years ago.
Taking Sides takes place every Tuesday in Judd Theater and challenges students to debate over a topic, which encourages them to think critically about questions that affect them as Christians. This chapel experience is vastly different in comparison to traditional chapel.
On Thursdays at 11 a.m. in Cail Auditorium of the Davisson American Heritage building, Oklahoma Christian University students and faculty gather in Seekers Chapel to discuss challenging questions and seek answers, just as the Bible commands.
Aiming to increase knowledge of various chapels on campus, articles introducing Coffee with Christ, Seekers, Great Songs, Faithfully Ever After, Safe at Home, Taking Sides, Quiet Place, Ready to Speak, Beam, Missions, Spanish, and Bible Kickback chapels will run over the next two weeks from Dr. Patterson’s reporting class.
