The Talon is a student-run newspaper on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University. Dr. Philip Patterson is the staff advisor.
The Talon is one of the oldest organizations on campus, dating back to before 1980. From its beginning, we have sought to provide accurate, informative, and engaging news to the Oklahoma Christian campus and the community.
The Talon articles are categorized into five genres: new, features, sports, entertainment and opinions.
New articles are published daily at 10 a.m.
The staff and writers generally come from the journalism department, but we have welcomed and continue to welcome students from other departments on campus as well.
The Talon would love to hear from its readers, too. We welcome comments and responses to articles and suggestions for upcoming stories.
