Senior Jordan Bendy looks forward to a future of helping others
Juniors Sawyer Pehkonen and Landon Huslig, senior Josh Jones and freshman Jalen Brown became Oklahoma Christian University's first NCAA DII track and field All-Americans after finishing sixth in the 4x400 relay at the Indoor Championships in Birmingham, AL on March 11.
“To say Jake is brave and tough would be an extreme understatement,” Jake Collin’s teammate and roommate senior Jake Baxter said. “He has gone through some things in the past year that few people have gone through in their entire lives. It takes a special person to still have the willpower to do what he is doing every day and Jake is just that.”
Friends and family on the friendliness
The faculty and staff appreciation day is March 10, prior to the softball double header at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. against Fort Hays State University.
The Oklahoma Christian University men's golf team finished 12th in the Las Vegas Desert Classic while the Lady Eagles placed fourth at the Diffie Ford-Lincoln Invitational.
