SGA meeting update

While eating freshly baked cookies, Oklahoma Christian University’s Student Government Association (SGA) met last night.

President, Nash Scott, proposed a motion to amend article two, section three of the SGA’s by-laws. The new amendment states the “Activities committee shall be chaired by the vice president and a member of the SGA.” Additionally, the Vice President will manage public relations and social media for the organization.

Senators will vote on the matter next week.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute Bloodmobile is on campus today in front of the library. Members of the Oklahoma Christian community are encouraged to give blood.

Freshman fanfare will take place this Saturday in the forum. The SGA will provide food trucks. Vice President, Audrey Redfearn said students should make an effort to attend as parents are not allowed to view the performance due to the coronavirus.
