At the Student Government Association meeting last night, senators overviewed the homecoming budget and discussed ideas for the remainder of this semester.
Oklahoma Christian University staff member, Susan Hoover gave a presentation to the Association about the virtual networking fair. Encouraging students to “think about their future and take the opportunity to explore” jobs, Hoover offered12 $25 gift card to students who register and attend the event.
The fair will take place next Wednesday and Thursday. Students can expect over 50 Over 50 employers and grad schools, featuring internships, part-time and full time jobs.
Executive Homecoming members Kennah Foster and Cami McDonal presented the Homecoming budget. The team plans to spend $10,333 including the cost of sweatshirt, hosting a pep rally, the philanthropy project and other miscellaneous items.
In other announcements, students can receive free flu shots in the student center today and tomorrow.
