The Student Government Association met on March 27 to discuss a funding request from Team OC, the semester report and upcoming events.
First, Team OC presented a funding request for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. If given, there would be an available discount for students as well as options for 100% paid scholarships to participate in the run. The marathon will take place on the weekend after finals. Students can sign up by searching the Dub or TeamOC and following a link to the discount.
Next, the students discussed the SGA updates report that was sent out and received an update from Campus Improvements about a potential Library FitDesk.
Lastly, Eagle Eye presented upcoming events. The annual campus Easter Egg Hunt is this week, and campaigning for new executive SGA positions begins next week.
