While Edmond, Oklahoma, does offer a variety of well-known coffee shops, including Oklahoma Christian University’s campus coffee shop, The Brew, the city also hides a number of lesser-known gems.

Cafe Wren
After 13 years as All About Cha, the owners rebranded and launched Cafe Wren in its place in February of this year. With a fresh vision, they hope to provide a new, refreshing experience while still emphasizing and maintaining a strong community, a relaxing environment, and high-quality food and drinks. Cafe Wren serves a full breakfast and lunch menu, featuring everything from savory dishes to sweet treats to go with a hot cappuccino or a house-made iced tea.
The Drip Coffeehouse
Located just north of Cafe Wren, near the University of Central Oklahoma, another hidden coffee shop recently opened its doors. The Drip launched in April of this year, and although it’s a bit of a longer drive from Oklahoma Christian’s campus, it’s well worth the trip. Not only is the coffee shop open during traditional business hours, but the Drip stands out by offering late night hours from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. every day except Sunday, when it is closed. One highlight of the menu is the specialty vanilla Belgian waffles with a variety of delicious topping options.
Cafe Marpha
Known for its cozy and relaxing ambience, Cafe Marpha is located on the outskirts of downtown Edmond. Stepping through the door of Cafe Marpha feels like stepping through the door of a home with warm lighting, soft music, and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, this coffee shop is a place to slow down and enjoy locally roasted coffee with the option of indoor or outdoor seating.
The Milk & Honey Coffee Co
A family-owned business, The Milk & Honey Coffee Co. strives to be a home away from home for its customers. With soft music, bright lighting, and a variety of seating options, the coffee shop offers a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Their menu features a wide selection of food and drinks, with the affogato latte being one of their most notable picks.
Although these hidden coffee shops tend to be smaller and less well-known, they offer more than just caffeine.
