Intramural All-Sports Update

Winter-like weather rolls in and intramural competition moves indoors for the start of volleyball season.

The fight for the coveted title of All-Sports champion remains close for the men’s and women’s clubs on campus.

Clubs competed in softball, flag football, tennis, cross country, Ping Pong and pool over the two months, which accumulated points towards the All-Sports title. Volleyball kicked off last night.

The men of Chi Lambda Phi and the Freshman women claimed the flag football A-league championship titles. Sunday night, freshman Brittany McKnight won women’s pool and Ping Pong. On the guys’ side, freshman Austin McNair won pool, and Aaron Wondra claimed the Ping Pong title.

The women’s title remains a close race with the second and third place clubs separated by only one point. For the men, Chi Lambda Phi and Kappa Sigma Tau sit in first and second, respectively, but are separated by 59 points.

  5. Phi Omega Nu—5 points

Male All-Sport Standings:

  1. Chi Lambda Phi—392 points
  2. Kappa Sigma Tau—333 points
  3. Delta Gamma Sigma—233 points
  4. Freshman Men—221 points
  5. Psi Epsilon—31 points
  6. Alpha Gamma Omega—13 points
