Thursday, Nov. 15: Iota Kappa Phi defeated Theta Theta Theta in two sets, 25-10 and 25-17. Palmer finished the series with six blocks and three kills. Palmer plays middle for Iota.

Q: Why are you passionate about volleyball?

 A: “It’s how my mom, sister and I would spend a lot of our time together. We would go outside for hours and pass a volleyball around or pepper.”

Intramural Male Athlete of the Week

Name: Yuki Ikeda

Club: Kappa Sigma Tau

Year: Junior

Hometown: Japan

Major: Public Communication and Leadership

Stats:

Thursday, Nov. 15: Kappa Sigma Tau defeated the Freshmen in two sets, 25-15 and 25-9. Ikeda finished the series with 20 points.

Q: What is your favorite memory from playing intramurals with your club?

 A: “This year against Delta because I have some volleyball friends in Delta. Also, I respect a person whose name is Vinicius. He is the best volleyball player in my volleyball life. I was so happy to play with him.”
