The women’s third-place game has come to an end, with the women of Theta Theta Theta winning over the freshmen in an awesome game.
The men’s B-team third-place game was also played between Alpha Gamma Omega and Chi Lambda Phi. Sadly, the men of Alpha did not have enough players to field a team. However, in good spirits, the men of Chi lent some players to Alpha to allow the game to be played. This secured Chi the men’s B-team third-place spot.
Football is coming to a close very quickly. As we get ready for the championship games tonight, there is much to look forward to. The first game will be the men’s A-team third-place game between the freshmen and Chi. This will no doubt be a fantastic game to watch, with both teams showing throughout the season that they have real talent and ability. This is sure to be a game many people are excited to see.
Next, we will have the men’s B-team championship game between the freshmen and Delta Gamma Sigma. When the two teams first met, Delta was able to secure a win over the freshmen. However, the freshmen have improved and prepared for this second meeting. Delta will not have an easy game ahead of them. Delta B is currently undefeated and will no doubt be ready to defend that record and bring home the B-team championship for the club.
The next game is the women’s A-team championship game, one of the more exciting games of the night. Rivals Gamma Rho and Lambda Zeta Phi will meet to play for first place. This will be a huge game, especially after Gamma lost to Lambda in the softball championship earlier this semester. It is no question that the ladies of Gamma will be looking for revenge. As of now, Gamma is undefeated and ready to play, but Lambda will no doubt be ready for another shot at taking down the massive opponent that Gamma has proven to be.
For the final game of the night, Delta A will face off against Kappa Sigma Tao A in the championship. Much like the women’s A-team game, we will see a similar situation to softball, where Delta lost to Kappa earlier this year. We can expect Delta to be ready to play and make something happen, but Kappa will not let up easily. They are currently undefeated and will not be giving up without a fight.
The A-team championship games will be exciting to watch, and all of the teams have an opportunity to do something big.
