The Talon staff invites the student body and campus community to join us for our second Talon Town Hall event tonight at 8 p.m. in the Brew.
Our featured guest this evening is Oklahoma Christian University President John deSteiguer. Audience members will have an opportunity to comment on current events and ask deSteiguer and Talon staff members questions.
The first 50 students to arrive and check in will receive a coupon for a free drink from The Brew.
Through this event, the Talon wishes to better connect the student body by facilitating an on-campus forum where addressing and freely talking about relevant issues is encouraged.
We also aim to be as transparent as possible when discussing our news and editorial coverage by providing reasoning for why we cover certain stories and considering any and all feedback.
The first Talon Town Hall, which addressed gender roles and women speaking chapel, took place last semester on Oct. 1.
