Skylar Lawrence

What does Homecoming mean to you?

How has Homecoming impacted you?

“Homecoming brings me joy because, though we are competing, everyone is together. It is a time where you can look around and see people you don’t usually cross paths with or friends you haven’t seen in a while. A time to appreciate the [Oklahoma Christian] community as a whole.”

How does it feel to represent your class during such a big campus tradition?

“I love my class. It has been amazing spending the last three years growing with them and becoming closer together. It’s such a blessing to be friends with so many of them; I am so honored to experience [Oklahoma Christian] with them and represent the class of 2026 at homecoming this year!”

What does Homecoming mean to you?

“It’s a really busy time, but it brings so many people together—the clubs, alumni, student body, staff, and community! It’s a great reminder of all the people impacted by [Oklahoma Christian] and that God has worked through us all in our respective times here.”
