The women of Gamma Rho became back-to-back homecoming champions, after placing first in the overall club standings on Nov. 4.

“I think you guys are all here to learn,” Kemps said. “I think you’re here to learn to learn and you should keep learning. Versatility is just one of those things that you need to adapt. At my job, we rollout technology all the time. Getting people to use it or to want to use it is very difficult, especially when they didn’t choose the change. The company chose the change; the change was brought onto them. You really need to bring people along technology. Make them part of the idea.”
Homecoming nominations annually flood students’ inboxes in search of candidates for the homecoming court. Only seniors are eligible for the crown, but other grade levels and social clubs participate as representatives in the homecoming court.
“Philiatros helps students to seek these questions and get answers, whether that is questioning the current state of healthcare in Oklahoma or being connected with graduate students in the healthcare fields who can give them advice on how to succeed,” Russell said.
In hopes for a more unified homecoming experience, social clubs will only have three mandatory check-in events; the men’s basketball game, women’s basketball game, and the pep rally.

“It is one thing to email someone a resume, but it is another to get a personal introduction from someone who knows somebody,” Boydstun, said. “There’s the old cliché, ‘It’s not what you know but who you know.’ That is not completely true, but who you know helps you get through the door and then you can get the chance to show what you know.”
In an effort to celebrate the different cultures associated with Oklahoma Christian University, the Student Government Association will host a Multicultural Night this evening, which will include international food, dance and song.
