A 70-45 victory over Rogers State University on Thursday marked Coach Stephanie Findley’s 600th career win as the Oklahoma Christian women’s basketball head coach, while coaching her 1000th game as an Eagle.
“This is more bitter than sweet for me," senior center John Moon said. "To see all my work and things I have put in for four years, and to see it all come to an end is tough and kinda sad. I know that there is more coming, but it is tough to see these good times come to an end.”
“If you had asked me at the beginning of the season how I felt about playing my last few games, I would have said I was ready, but now I am trying to hold on to every second,” senior forward Hannah Holasek said. “I never realized how quickly it would come. It is bittersweet.”
With four games remaining in the regular season, the Oklahoma Christian University men's basketball team currently sits ninth in Heartland Conference standings. They need in the top eight to advance to the conference tournament next month.
