SGA Weekly Update: January 19

The Student Government Association met on Jan. 17 to discuss upcoming events and write thank you notes to faculty and staff. 

First, the Campus Spirit Committee talked about the upcoming campus spirit event next Thursday, Jan. 25, where the committee will hand out Chick-fil-a and poster boards at the 5:30 p.m. basketball game.

Another event is the Student Government Executive Office Informational Meeting, open to students interested in running for executive office next year, on Monday, Jan. 29 at 5:00 p.m. in the Duncan Room. 

Next, the students wrote thank you notes to faculty and the maintenance team for their hard work during the cold weather. 

Lastly, Eagle Eye announced the women’s swim meet occurring next Wednesday.
