The Talon staff invites the Oklahoma Christian University student body to join us in the Brew on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 8:00 p.m. for our first ever Talon Town Hall.
The event will feature open discussion on current issues facing students, with special attention paid to the topic of women speaking in chapel and gender roles within the church. Students in attendance will have an opportunity to voice their opinion on relevant subject matter.
The first 50 students to RSVP will receive a free drink from the Brew. To RSVP or ask questions, email octaloninfo@gmail.com. Tickets may be picked up in the Talon office, Garvey Center room 107, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Through this event, the Talon wishes to better connect the student body by facilitating an on-campus forum where addressing and freely talking about relevant issues is encouraged.
We also aim to be as transparent as possible when discussing our news and editorial coverage by providing reasoning for why we covered certain stories and considering any and all feedback.
