After a hard-fought season of football, the A league champions bumped two teams to second place standings in the race for all sports.
Delta B won the first set of championship games against Chi 30-8. Apart from an excellent run by Jaxon Santos, Chi’s offense did very little, while Delta’s blocking allowed Hunter Jones to pick apart defenders in the pocket. Chi came back to beat Delta in the A league final earning the win in a tight contest of 20-14. The win puts Chi at second place in the all sports rankings and leaves them in a striking position for the volleyball season.
In the women’s division, Gamma settled the score against Theta with a championship win of 12-0. Theta’s offense strived to drive deep into Gamma territory, but the slow start and the early departure of star player Holland Reece proved to be too much. Now, Gamma sits tied with Lambda for first place in the all sports rankings.
Cross Country
The first minor sport event occurred last week in the form of the Glow Run, which doubles as the cross country meet for intramurals. Gamma’s Katie Bosley and Kate Bradley went first and second, which proved to be too much for Lambda’s more consistent finishers of fifth and seventh through 11th. On the guys side Delta lacked depth and Kappa lacked top end talent, allowing Chi to comfortably win off the backs of Logan Hammersmith, Jeremiah Lorance, and Parker Landes.
Women’s Intramural Athlete of the Week: Addie Neal (Gamma Rho)
Another game picking apart teams with her deep cuts, Neal sliced through the Theta defense and scored both touchdowns. With a few more years to compete in football Neal can only continue to dominate on the gridiron.

First Runner Up: Kendra Harley (Theta Theta Theta)
While Neal was the biggest deep threat all year, one defender did an excellent job limiting her impact on the field. Harley’s speed allowed her to stay on Neal when she guarded her one on one, and her ability to keep opposing defenses on their toes once she got the ball showed her versatility.
Second Runner Up: Katie Bosley (Gamma Rho)
Normally sprinters have a lot to offer clubs when it comes to intramurals. But Bosley’s secret weapon was her stamina. Bosley took the Glow Run by storm and allowed Gamma to get right back into the mix for intramurals, and while it is to be determined how much more she can get involved, she has done a lot already for her club.
Men’s Intramural Athlete of the Week: Carter Neal (Chi Lambda Phi)
Ever since he first started playing flag football at Oklahoma Christian, Neal has been an impact player. His arm, agility, and awareness are unrivaled. Whether he was bombing it downfield or staying alive to give his receivers time to pick apart a defense, Neal did it all. Neal leaves the football season with his second championship and another addition to his resume for a potential 2024-25 Athlete of the Year award.

Dysen House (Delta Gamma Sigma)
One of many two-way players in the final, House did it all. His late first half touchdown put Delta right back into the game, and it felt like no matter how many defenders were near him, he was open. From captaining Delta’s defense to beating out top corner backs, House is a player that will be back with a vengence.
Parker Landes (Chi Lambda Phi)
Landes spent the football season using his speed and agility to test defenses, make solid returns, and lock down receivers. The final was no different, and his late game interception sealed the deal. Landes also stepped up in the Glow Run, finishing third and putting Chi back in second for all sports, a feat that has to be complimented considering their zero points from the softball season.
