Social Clubs share what to expect from their Spring Sing shows

The Talon reached out to all the social service clubs to write their own promotional blurb elaborating on their choices for their shows’   interpretations of the overall theme: Seasons. The following clubs submitted responses. Spring Sing 2025 takes place a week from today.

Chi Lambda Phi: Scarecrows

“The men of Chi Lambda Phi are hard at work making their addition to this year’s Spring Sing show! They’re very excited to mess around on the stage and give the audience a real treat. With the theme of Scarecrows, the guys can’t wait to dance (or at least try to) and sing and just have a good time up on stage. You always reap what you sow, and they’re hoping to work hard together at practice so that the audience gets an amazing experience when they get to watch their show at Spring Sing. They also liked beating each other up for their pre-show blurb. All fun and games over in Scotland for the men of Chi, they’ll see you at Spring Sing!”

Gamma Rho: Gardeners

“Gamma Rho has decided to be Gardeners for Spring Sing this year, and we could not be more excited! Gardening is all about hard work, patience, and growth, and we believe this theme perfectly represents who we are as a club. At Gamma, we know that you grow what you plant. Whether it’s vegetables, fruits, or flowers, we put in the effort and celebrate the results. Just like in gardening, where every seed needs care and dedication to thrive, we put our hearts into everything we do.

This Spring Sing, we’re bringing that same energy, excitement, and teamwork to the stage! Expect to see us digging, planting, watering, and having an absolute blast. We’re ready to cultivate a performance full of fun, laughter, and maybe even a few surprise harvests! Gardening isn’t just about the plants—it’s about community, growth, and working together. That’s what Gamma Rho is all about. We are hardworking, dedicated, and always up for a challenge. This theme reminds us that when we put in the effort, we can create something beautiful—on the stage, in the garden, and in life.”

Beta Beta Sigma: Penguins

“The women of Beta Beta Sigma present a reimagined version of the 2008 Beta show “Penguins”. As winter approaches, baby penguins can only imagine what their first migration will be like. Bundle up and follow along as they find out firsthand what it means to face dangerous predators, unexpected challenges, and maybe even find true love. Beta has been hard at work producing a fun and unique Spring Sing show that the audience is sure to enjoy. Come and watch to see what the Penguins of Beta have in store!”

Lambda Chi Zeta: Vikings

“Lambda Chi Zeta is setting sail for Spring Sing 2025 with Vikings, a show that blends history, humor, and the energy of a classic Spring Sing performance. Fitting into the overall theme of Seasons, Vikings is set in the winter as a tribute to the iconic civilization that inhabited the lands around the Northern Sea. This show has been so fun for Lambda to put together and so much effort has been involved every step of the way. Vikings showcases Lambda’s personality by creating something that is unique but also has our traditional moves and ideas! Our goal is for the audience to have fun watching the show and engage with our music, choreography, and our funny side characters! We can’t wait to share it with you and hope you enjoy watching it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it. We hope you enjoy our show!”

Freshmen: Cruiseline
