On Wednesday, Feb. 15, Oklahoma Christian University’s Student Government Association held their weekly senate meeting. During the meeting, they discussed spring events, funding proposals, Eagle Eye and wrote notes for this week’s Noted.
SGA president Micah Burk opened the meeting along with SGA Chaplin Jeb Klafter, who led the senate in the weekly Bible verse and prayer.
The meeting proceeded as Burk reviewed the previous week’s meeting minutes.
Then the Oklahoma Christian baja kart engineering team presented SGA with a funding proposal for their upcoming competition in May 2023.
After their funding request, Eagle Eye presented some upcoming spring events. These include the Oklahoma Christian Women’s Association Chili Supper on Feb. 23, the Spring Sing Coffee Camper on Feb. 28 and this week’s basketball games.
To close, SGA members wrote notes for this week’s Noted, a new initiative created to encourage students and various organizations across campus. This week’s recipients were Spring Sing directors and executives.
