The Student Government Association met on March 1 to discuss funding requests, appropriation updates and upcoming activities.
A funding request for Exploring America was presented. Exploring America is a program of nine history class students who are selected to explore history in New York City. This trip will take place from May 2-10.
An appropriations update was given, and committees broke out to discuss the rest of the semester’s meetings and budgets.
Eagle Eye presented its updated activity list for the semester. Spring Break, which occurs the week of March 13, a Delta campus-wide event on March 23, campaign meetings with candidates on March 20-24, CLASS filing beginning April 3-6 and Easter celebrations to be announced for April 7.
SGA ended their meeting with writing thank you notes to the tech team and band participating in Spring Sing and supportive notes to the swim team for their successful semester.
