On Wednesday, March 22, Oklahoma Christian University’s Student Government Association held their weekly senate meeting. During the meeting, they reviewed last week’s meeting minutes, discussed Eagle Eye and the committees on campus and continued to spread encouragement with Noted.
SGA president Micah Burk began this week’s meeting followed by Jeb Klafter presenting the weekly Bible verse and prayer.
The meeting continued with Burk reviewing the minutes from March 8th’s meeting, as Spring Break caused no meeting to be held last week.
Next, each committee presented reports to the senate of what they have done this year and what their plans for the future are. These committees include Academics, Activities, Appropriations, Campus Improvement, Campus Spirit, Multicultural, Spiritual Life, Constitution, rules and regulations and the elections committee.
To end the night, SGA discussed upcoming events from Eagle Eye and wrote notes of encouragement to different groups on campus as a part of the Noted Project. This week’s Noted group was the senior class.
