Oklahoma Christian University men’s head basketball coach Cory Cole resigned from his position yesterday.
Cole shared the news on Facebook yesterday afternoon, saying, “OC family, thank you for the last three years and all the memories back in the Eagles Nest. Thanks to all the players and staff for putting in the work and the hours to help elevate the program. I have resigned my position and will be looking for the next opportunity God will bring for me and my family. Truly blessed.”
Cole, an Oklahoma Christian basketball alumnus, was inducted into the Oklahoma Christian Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000 and has posted a 31-54 record during his three years coaching the Eagles.
A statement from the Oklahoma Christian athletic department is expected later today.
