“With it being October, I thought putting a spin on it with the pink pumpkins was a good idea,” Lawrence said. “We live in a world where, as sad as it is, cancer has become normal. You hear, ‘Oh, someone else just got diagnosed with breast cancer.’ I do not want it to become a mundane thing.”
“Stay out of debt, write your goals down and have a clear picture of what you want to accomplish,” King said. “Talk to your family and ask, ‘What are some mistakes you made? What advice do you have for me?’ If you want to be successful, get advice from successful people. Do not spend more than you make, write your goals down and educate yourself as much as possible.”
“There aren’t a lot of people in the cast, so we’ve been able to get really close with each other and get to know each other really well, so I’ve made some friends,” Parker said. “The biggest take-away that I’ve gotten from this is that everybody is at a different point in their life, and everybody has different needs, but sometimes one point can meet a whole lot of needs and it’s incredible how one production can change so much.”
“Aaron is a really fun and sweet person,” Sarah said. “He is very friendly and will do whatever he can to make you happy. From him, I think people can learn that it does not take a lot to affect people, so if you want to do something nice for a lot of people, an easy way to start is just by opening a door.”
“The biggest thing I’ve learned is that there aren’t social boundaries on this campus,” Compton said. “In PLC they taught us, especially since it’s a Christian campus, you should just talk to anyone and be friendly to people because you don’t know who you’re going to impact. Same goes for board members and directors or heads of different things. You just go up to them and introduce yourself because they want to meet you. Break the barrier because they don’t really get contact with students so take initiative. It builds community around you.”
