COVID-19 Update

Last week Oklahoma saw COVID-19 cases continue the downward trend in cases with the 7-day average falling once again to 2,587, as of Sunday.

Although new daily cases continue to fall, deaths have not followed that trend. Oklahoma reported  65 new COVID deaths on Wednesday. The state’s death toll now stands at 3,388 people.

Among Oklahoma cities Edmond is ranked third in total confirmed cases with 14,879. Edmond also has reported 82 COVID-19 related deaths. 

Edmond is a part of Oklahoma County which is currently in the orange color-coded area

Oklahoma Christian University has reported 7 current active cases on campus as of Jan. 25. There are also 19 students in quarantine or isolation.
