SGA holds last meeting of the semester

During the last Student Government Association (SGA) meeting of the semester, senators reviewed their accomplishments and discussed their goals for the upcoming year.

Attendees voted on a new participation amendment for SGA members, including an allowance of five senate meetings per semester. If senators pass the amendment, the vote will go out to the student body for a final proposal.

The SGA honored sophomores Meredith Eck and Nate Bellcock for holding a perfect attendance at all Wednesday night meetings.

Next semester, Oklahoma Christian University students can expect SGA involvement in Spring Sing as well as the Spring Sing philanthropy project, headed by director Ashley Cannon.

The SGA plans to conduct a new process for all committee funding requests as well as a rubric for committee reports.

In announcements, Multi-Cultural Night will occur this Saturday, Nov. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on campus. This kudos-approved event will feature international students attending Oklahoma Christian.

Tonight at the men’s and women’s basketball games, the Campus Spirit Committee in association with the Flight Club will host a Christmas party for all students.
