Flint’s Election Fiasco

The Republican National Committee (RNC) made headlines with its startling legal action against the city of Flint, Michigan. This lawsuit could serve as a potential landmark in election integrity cases and precedent throughout the nation.

On Monday, Oct. 31, the RNC announced it filed a lawsuit against the city of Flint, Michigan, for allegedly hiring a biased and unequal number of poll workers for the 2022 Midterm Elections.

The legal challenge springs from the Republican, non-Democratic interest of pushing for fair election integrity. The lawsuit details the city of Flint failed to “hire an equal number of poll workers from each two major political parties in preparation for the midterm elections,” according to The Federalist.

The deception deepens as the truth reveals itself further, exposing the fact Flint violated current Michigan law, which requires Michigan election officials to appoint an equal number of poll workers to count votes: half Democrat, half Republican. In politically corrupt fashion, out of the Democrat-run city’s “equal” proportion plan, Republican election workers made up only 17% of the poll workforce in Flint.

Out of all the election inspectors in Flint, “roughly only 120 of the 680 election inspectors hired in Flint for the 2022 midterms are Republican,” according to The Federalist. That leaves a total of 560 poll workers, 82% of which are affiliated with the Democratic Party.

Under Michigan law, there are supposed to be 360 Republican election workers, not 120. This is not just a simple mistake, the apportionment was entirely intentional and planned. Power-hungry Michigan Governor Gretchen Witmer, comfortable in her corruption, will most likely do nothing about the reports and problem, even though Michigan statutes were violated.

The devious move by Democrats in Michigan could possibly ruin their image in the Great Lake State, even though the blatant poll worker appointment bias was to prevent the looming GOP midterm wave in the state.

After a rocky Democrat-majority Congress and President, the Republican Party has been seeing positive numbers for the coming weeks leading up to Midterms, even in deep blue states, districts, counties and cities.

In response to the erroneous poll worker appointment percentages in Flint, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel delivered a statement regarding the lawsuit: “This is unacceptable and unfair to Michigan voters: Republicans are going to court to deliver the fairness that Michiganders deserve,” according to the Detroit Free Press.

As always, mainstream media has started blasting rhetoric claiming Republicans are assembling an “army” to overturn election results, bypassing the blatant corruption Democrats have tried to create in multiple swing state election centers and ballot counting sites.

Really, Republicans are trying their best to ensure the elections in toss-up swing states are true and fair, a completely coherent concern.

Once again, Democrats resort to law-breaking and corrupt criminality to obtain and preserve their power. The Left side of the aisle is definitely feeling the pressure as the imminent GOP wave threatens to unseat Democrats from their perches in Washington, D.C.
