“We did a funeral, because in all honesty, we wanted to go out with a bang,” senior Pi member Emmy Oehlert said. “We won third in Homecoming, but since then, we have been kind of quiet. We wanted one big last event that the people at OC could celebrate with us at.”

“T.W. has clearly shown a kind of demonstrated excellence in the fields of political science, economics and business, as well as general communication and leadership,” Milner said. “What he is talking about is how he succeeded in each one of those fields, rather than the specific policy that would interest someone like me—it is more of the skillset by which you go into your field and you succeed there, just in terms of interpersonal communication and leadership skills.”
“It is basically just a compilation of songs that I have written since being here—they are sort of just capturing the changes I went through from freshman year to graduation,” Jorgensen said. “I tried to capture the more highs and lows and the difficult parts to get through.”
Oklahoma Christian University alumni Garrett McCurrach and Drew Bellcock are the creative minds behind a new way to take a shower.
While only around 1 percent of people on the bone marrow registry end up being a match, an Oklahoma Christian University alumnus found himself within that small margin in January when he received a call to be a potential donor. On March 21, Joshua Bilello donated bone marrow to a complete stranger, in an effort to help save a man’s life.
“When I got here, I was finally considered part of the majority, in terms of finally being surrounded by other Christian people,” Reed said. “Just being out here with people who have similar mindsets and being able to find my inner circle was really important for me here at OC. In the Bible, Jesus had his 12 disciples and within that, his inner-circle, so I am glad I was able to find my group of people—that good group of friends I can go to in difficult times.”
