The Student Government Association met on Aug. 23 to discuss committee assignments and upcoming events.
First, the committees split up to discuss the roles and responsibilities they would have this year. This included the Constitution, Activities, Appropriations, Spiritual Life, Campus Improvements, Campus Spirit and Academic committees.
Then, attendees brainstormed three goals for their individual committees to accomplish this semester.
Lastly, Eagle Eye presented upcoming events. Open Rush begins this weekend and the Organizational Fair will be held on Monday from 11-1 p.m. in the Student Center. On Saturday, men’s soccer will play at 6 p.m. followed by women’s soccer at 8 p.m.
