SGA Weekly Update: October 13

The Student Government Association met on Oct. 11 to discuss a Hot Topic, the Glow Run and Eagle Eye events.

First, students discussed a Hot Topic — cafeteria swipes. Recently, The Branch has caught students giving their friends swipes on their meal plans. This has caused The Branch to lose money. Students were asked what type of repercussions should be put in place to stop this from happening.

Next, SGA brought up the Glow Run occuring on Monday, Oct. 15 at 7:45 p.m. Students were encouraged to volunteer standing on the Student Government side of the trail to cheer on runners.

Lastly, Eagle Eye presented upcoming events. Psi Epsilon, Kappa Sigma Tau and the freshman will host their banquets tonight, and a Pickleball Tournament will take place tomorrow. The Fall Symphonic band concert will occur at 3 p.m. in Judd Theatre on Sunday.
