“This year, we are going to really try to encourage students to go to the alumni breakfasts and just provide them with the opportunity to interact with people who did go here, because I think that is so important. They can tell you how things have changed and you can have good conversations with them. When it comes to Homecoming in general, just come and get involved, because it is going to be a good time.”

For her 18 years of service to Oklahoma Christian University, as well as her dedication to students and staff on campus, Lois Hill received the “Honorary Alumna” award at this year’s annual homecoming alumni banquet.
The women of Gamma Rho became back-to-back homecoming champions, after placing first in the overall club standings on Nov. 4.
In the 2016-17 basketball season, John Moon blocked 73 shots and McKenzie Stanford finished as the Heartland Conference’s second all-time leading scorer with 1,715 points.…

“It is really encouraging to see OC facilitate this type of environment, where we can take a moment and celebrate our international students and appreciate their cultures,” Bian said. “The homecoming directors and the executive directors are all very aware of what cultural appropriation is and that is not the purpose of this theme. I think there is a way to celebrate someone’s culture without appropriating it, and I think that we are going to do a good job of that.”
